        एकेकाळी, एका सुंदर भूमीत, आश्चर्यकारक प्राण्यांनी भरलेले एक जादूचे जंगल होते. या जंगलातील सर्वात खास गोष्ट म्हणजे दयाळू वृक्ष. ते एक मोठे, शहाणे झाड होते ज्याची पाने इंद्रधनुष्यासारखी चमकत होती. 

     एका सूर्यप्रकाशित सकाळी, सॅमी नावाची एक छोटी गिलहरी त्याच्या मित्रांसोबत काइंडनेस ट्रीजवळ खेळत होती. सॅमीला झाडांवर चढण्याची आवड होती आणि तो संपूर्ण जंगलातील सर्वात वेगवान गिर्यारोहक होता. पण आज त्याला वाईट वाटले कारण त्याचे मित्र आणखी एका छोट्या गिलहरीची, टिमीची चेष्टा करत होते. 

    टिमी इतर गिलहरींपेक्षा वेगळी होती. त्याच्या शेपटीवर पांढर्‍या फरचा ठिपका होता आणि तो झाडांवर चढण्यास तितका तत्पर नव्हता. सॅमीच्या मित्रांनी त्याला "स्लो टिमी" म्हटले आणि यामुळे टिमीला खूप दुःख झाले.

    टिमीला एकटा बसलेला पाहून सॅमीला आजीने शिकवलेल्या गोष्टी आठवल्या. ती म्हणाली, "दयाळूपणा जादूसारखा असतो, सॅमी. जेव्हा तुम्ही इतरांशी दयाळू असता तेव्हा ते सर्वत्र आनंद पसरवते." सॅमीने धाडसी आणि दयाळू होण्याचे ठरवले. तो टिमीकडे गेला आणि मनसोक्त हसला. "हाय, टिमी! तुला आमच्यासोबत खेळायचे आहे का?" त्याने विचारले. 

    टिमी आश्चर्यचकित पण आनंदी दिसत होती. "नक्की, मला आवडेल," त्याने हसत उत्तर दिले. त्या दिवसापासून सॅमी आणि टिमी चांगले मित्र बनले. सॅमीच्या इतर मित्रांना लवकरच कळले की टिमी आजूबाजूला किती मजेदार आहे आणि ते सर्व मित्र बनले. सर्व लहान गिलहरी एकत्र खेळताना आणि हसताना पाहून दयाळू वृक्ष खूप आनंदित झाला. 

     दयाळूपणाच्या प्रत्येक कृतीने दयाळूपणाच्या झाडाची पाने अधिक चमकू लागली. प्रत्येक वेळी जेव्हा कोणीतरी सामायिक केले, मदत केली किंवा दयाळूपणे बोलली, तेव्हा पाने चमकणाऱ्या ताऱ्यांसारखी चमकत होती.

 

    एके दिवशी, फ्रेडी नावाचा एक स्वार्थी आणि चिडखोर कोल्हा जंगलात आला. फ्रेडीला इतरांसोबत शेअर करणे किंवा खेळणे आवडत नव्हते. त्याला सर्व जंगलातील खजिना स्वतःसाठी हवा होता. त्याने दयाळूपणाचे झाड पाहिले आणि त्याच्या सौंदर्याचा आणि तेजाचा हेवा वाटला. फ्रेडीने काहीतरी वाईट करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. 

    दयाळूपणाच्या झाडाची चमक कमी होईल या आशेने त्याने त्याच्यावर खडे टाकायला सुरुवात केली. पण खडे झाडावर आदळताच ते फुलपाखरे बनले आणि सर्वत्र दयाळूपणा पसरवत उडून गेले. फ्रेडी आश्चर्यचकित झाला, परंतु त्याला दयाळूपणाची जादू समजली नाही. सॅमी, टिमी आणि त्यांच्या मित्रांनी फ्रेडीला पाहिले आणि त्यांना त्याच्याबद्दल वाईट वाटले.

From that day on, Sammy and Timmy became best friends. Sammy's other friends soon realized how much fun Timmy was to be around, and they all became friends too. The Kindness Tree was so happy to see all the little squirrels playing and laughing together.

The Kindness Tree's leaves started to glow brighter with each act of kindness. Every time someone shared, helped, or spoke kindly, the leaves sparkled like twinkling stars.

One day, a selfish and grumpy fox named Freddie came into the forest. Freddie didn't like to share or play with others. He wanted all the forest treasures for himself. He saw the Kindness Tree and became jealous of its beauty and brightness.

Freddie decided to do something mean. He started throwing pebbles at the Kindness Tree, hoping to make it lose its glow. But as the pebbles hit the tree, they turned into butterflies and flew away, spreading kindness all around.

Freddie was amazed, but he didn't understand the magic of kindness. Sammy, Timmy, and their friends saw Freddie and felt sorry for him. They invited him to play with them, hoping he would learn to be kind too.

Slowly, Freddie's heart softened as he experienced the joy of friendship and sharing. He realized that being kind made him feel happy too. The Kindness Tree's leaves glowed even brighter as Freddie changed his ways.

The lesson of the Kindness Tree is that being kind to others brings happiness and makes the world a better place. No matter how big or small, a simple act of kindness can create magic and spread joy to everyone around us.
